Berlioz's story
Berlioz is a wonderfully fluffy black cat with smokey undertones and the tufty ears and paws of his Maine Coon cousins, only without the hefty size...or price tag! His friends call him Bear and he came here with his sister Penelope, who's every bit as sleek and shiny as he is fluffy.
Both Bear and Penelope tend to hang out and watch in new situations, little Secret Valentines who just want to make sure they're safe. Once they know you're kind, they'll be ready to give their hearts away. We expect that once they blossom, they may even turn into Snuggle Bunnies for you!
They are only a little over a year old, so playtime is still their favorite time of the day. Playing also helps give them more confidence, so get out the cat wands and make everyone happy!
Both Bear and Penelope will do best in a quiet home without a lot of activity to scare them. They do fine with other cats but no dogs or small children please. Bear likes to have his fluffy fur brushed, so you should be able to help him keep it looking fine.
They met as kittens at Happy Cats and have been through a lot together, so are very bonded.
