OBO 1969 Ford Mustang Coupe for sale in Colorado Springs, Colorado

$7

I am selling my 1969 Ford Mustang GT Coupe with the original 351W V-8 Engine. It has 115,000 Miles on it currently and is still going strong. The transmission works great, has the standard H-pattern 4 on the floor. The Battery was recently replaced after the long winter we had and it eventually died. The windshield wipers are brand new and function perfectly. I ordered some engine parts which i never got to put on as I just haven't had time. I have a crome Monte Bar, as well as Crome Apron Brace Bar both of which are still in the plastic. I also have two Ford Racing fender covers. All items will go with the car obviously. The radio does not work, Im pretty sure its the wiring in the dash as the cigarette lighter does not work either. There was damage done to the car before I purchased the car, the driver side front fender was backed into by a truck and crushed, but I had a mechanic bang it out pretty good so it doesn't get in the way. The interior needs a lot of work but that was going to be last so I didn't even touch it. My wife and I are growing our family by one and need something more family friendly then a project car, so I am giving up my dream car. I have plenty of pictures included. This car does run just fine. No issues, but it is not perfect. Again it is a great running PROJECT CAR. I drove it to and from work everyday roughly 20 miles total for the last little while until I parked it for the winter. I wish I didn't have to get rid of this car but I do. There have only been two previous owners, confirmed by the VIN check. The original owner did not drive it much but let it go to waste as he got older. When he passed his wife sold it to a auto mechanic who replaced alot of old rusted parts as he was giving it to his 16 year old son once it was complete. His son got into law trouble so he sold the car instead without completing the project. That was a few years ago when I picked it up in barely running condition. I had to replace the starter and some of the wires to get it running better as well as tighten the belts to stop the squealing in the engine bay. The brakes were replaced immediately and the lines were bled. The brake pressure consistently runs low so the brake pedal does not return to full upright position, just a simple pull on it puts it back up. The bucket seats liners are destroyed but the foam is still good, just needs reupholstered. It would honestly be better if you just come look at it. Its a great project car start point. Looks and sounds great but like all old cars will need work to restore. Please, give it a chance and take a look.
