 Performs broadcast-quality, auditorium audio visual (A/V) requirements in support of conferences, senior level meetings, ceremonies, and events. 

Provides technical oversight of equipment operation and technical requirements, in conjunction with other SMEs and principals. Will have a detailed knowledge of production lighting systems, sound and audio controls, production video switching have a high level of proficiency in video format and video resolution conversion in a broadcast / production environment. Additional skills required to utilize presentations, graphics, videos, and audio tracks in support of individual auditorium functions.

The A/V lead provides highly specialized creative audio support to compose original music scoring and soundtrack development for events and other Agency products.

The A/V lead provides dedicated A/V support (Unclassified and Classified), with additional surge capability, to facilitate and execute broadcast-quality, auditorium A/V requirements in support of conferences, senior level meetings, ceremonies, and events.  This lead also provides technical oversight of equipment operation and technical requirements, in conjunction with the Information and Technology Management Directorate (ICTT).  The A/V lead must also be proficient in video format and video resolution conversion in a broadcast/production environment.  Must be eligible for Top Secret personnel security clearance.

The A/V lead should be able to:

  • build and/or modify presentations, graphics, videos, and audio tracks in support of individual auditorium functions.
  • operate event lighting and custom lighting effects.
  • Serve as a camera operator during events to operate both mounted cameras and remote pan-and-tilt cameras.
  • operate the technical equipment and systems needed for live Agency broadcasts, ceremonies, and stage and special event productions, and work with customers, principals, and A/V crew to ensure all aspects of the production run smoothly.
  • operate other associated equipment such as a video switcher, production automation system as required.

Education/Experience:

  • Associates degree in Studio Production or Music Production or related arts discipline with 7 years’ experience providing creative service/support on a DoD or commercial co
  • BA/BS degree in Studio Production/Music Production or related arts discipline with 5 years’ experience providing creative, high quality service/support on a DoD or commercial contract.
