Bella Donna Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) Adult Female in Colorado Springs, Colorado

My story
I recently made my way to beautiful Colorado from Sunny California and so far I don't mind the change of scenery a bit! This white stuff falling from the sky was bananas at first, but nothing that a warm sweater can't fix! Did I mention I love fashion? Pink is definitely my color and honey you know what they say, if ya got it, flaunt it - am I right??! Although I will need someone to take it slow when helping me dress - sometimes my little legs get sore and I don't like to be rushed. Looking this fabulous takes time!

It turns out the

Vet told me I have allergies to certain types of food or proteins. But don't worry about me darlin', Dr

prescribed medications to help with any pesky itching. My fur has suffered a little bit leaving me looking somewhat like a Chinese crested for goodness sake, but what's a girl to do? I feel much better now and still look fabulous. My beautiful long eyelashes are my best feature anyway.

I do love me some soft plush toys to play with, and if you play your cards right, I may just invite you to a game of tug of war (my favorite!) and really put on my Sasha fierce while showing you how strong I am. Of course, once we start, I will likely keep bringing you back the toy until I'm worn out. Not you. Kisses! ;)

Belly rubs and ear scratches are also always welcome for a good wind-down.

I will go potty outside, but I am also good at doing my business on a puppy pad. I just can't bring myself to poo on one though because Ew. Plus carpet is so much better for that. Sometimes if the mood strikes me I can display some resource guarding, but not always, and the same goes for strangers. Big tall men give me the vapors, and if they're wearing a hat for example, I just feel like I am going to faint. Or bark my remaining fur off. But if you go slow, and let me come to you, or offer a good game of tug o war, I usually warm up. To be honest, older people are really more my style and speed. I just LOVE mature humans and am not afraid of walkers, wheelchairs or slow-moving individuals. Have a heating blanket? Need a dog-shaped heating blanket for your lap? Then I'm your girl!

Kids? See above. Vapors and Fainting. I will need a forever home with adults only preferably. I get along with other dogs OK, and I used to live with Meows so I am all good there. Although bigger dogs make me nervous and I will bark until they understand they are cramping my style.

So what do you say, could this California girl be for you? After all, we're unforgettable, and lets face it, we wish they could all be California girls. :)
