My story
Hi there. I'm Maggie, a 10-year-old DLH white and grey girl. I have a great patch of grey on my face that the folks here at Safe Place say makes me unusual.
I came to Safe Place with a friend of the owner in hospice care. The owner's last wish was for me to be in a good home. The folks at Safe Place and my foster have helped me adjust to life without my long-time owner.
I will need regular brushing to keep my gorgeous fur free of matts. I also have something called Hyperthyroid meaning high metabolism. The good thing, this is easily treatable with a cream that rubs on my skin. No pills, shots or nasty tasting things crushed in my food. Yuck!
I like a low activity home without children. I like respectful dogs and other cats as long as they give me time to get used to them. My $100 adoption donation includes vaccinations, a microchip, Feline Leukemia test (negative) Feline Immunodefieciency Virus test (negative) a recent vet exam, a month of thyroid medication, and a month of the food I eat. Hurry! I won't last long with my distinctive look and mellow personality.
If you have any questions or would like to adopt Maggie, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
