My story
Hello, my name is Mattie. I'm a 9-year-old spayed female with a white chin and pretty rust and orange coloring. I'm a quiet lady by nature, and the first night I got to my foster home, I hid under the cushion of my igloo. But now I've started to get a lot more curious and adventuresome. One morning when my foster mom overslept, I hopped up on the bed together with one of her other cats, Smokey, to inform her that it was past breakfast time! I love being petted on the chin and I absolutely adore being combed. I have a special comb, and when I see my foster mom come towards me with it in her hand, I immediately run up to greet her. I even let her comb my belly!

I mentioned Smokey already; the other cat is Sam. He and I were uncomfortable with each other at first, but things are fine now, and I like to just hang out with them. So, with a little patience I might do well with another cat or even two as long as they give me time.
